Project Coordinator
Traverse City, MI (Hybrid)
Key Responsibilities:
- Coordinate gas and electric service projects for residential and commercial customers
- Manage project lifecycle including scoping, scheduling, permitting, cost estimates, and field coordination
- Serve as the main point of contact between customers, contractors, and internal teams
- Track project milestones and prioritize multiple active projects simultaneously
- Support distribution design and work order preparation
- Coordinate field activities and conduct on-site customer meetings as needed
- Use systems such as SAP, CAD, Microsoft Office, and other project tracking tools
- Ensure projects are completed on schedule and aligned with customer expectations
Qualifications:
- Associate degree in a technical/scientific field OR equivalent college coursework toward a Bachelor’s degree
- Prior project coordination or project management experience required
- Experience in construction, utilities, manufacturing, pipeline, telecom/cable, or infrastructure projects preferred
- Strong communication, customer service, and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with SAP, CAD, Microsoft Office, or similar systems preferred
- Valid driver’s license required; local field travel/site visits required
