Onboarding Specialist (Merchants)
Location: 5 days a week onsite in Irving, TX
Duration: ~ 6 Months
Schedule: 40 hours a week
Hourly Rate: up to $40 an hour/ DOE
Our large Retail client, is looking for multiple Onboarding Specialists for their marketplace division for a 40 hour a week, ~ 6 month role. This role requires 5 days a week onsite at headquarters in Irving, TX.
Onboarding Specialist (Merchants) Responsibilities:
- Act as the main point of contact for restaurant merchants during the onboarding process (setup all the way to go-live.)
- Configure, validate, and QA merchant accounts, menus and data items to ensure that everything is correct and consistent.
- Manage the onboarding workflows across integration partners like Olo, Toast, Otter, Stream, etc.
- Document processes and share feedback with product teams to make improvements.
- Give clear instructions, guidance, and support to merchants that spans from training on system use, troubleshooting issues, and answering questions.
- Diligently track the onboarding progress and identify bottlenecks/ communicate issues.
- 2-3 years' experience working restaurants, onboarding, account management, customer success, implementation ideally within the marketplace SaaS, food delivery, or restaurant tech space.
- Bachelor's degree-- an MBA or Masters degree is sought after.
- Experience working within HubSpot, Salesforce, Smartsheet or other similar CRM and workflow tools.
- Familiarity with POS and aggregator systems.
