Duration: 3-year Contract
Overview:
The I&C Designer 3 role requires 7–10 years of relevant experience and is responsible for supporting the design and execution of instrumentation and control systems for industrial projects. This position includes both design work and field support, with opportunities to lead projects under limited supervision.
Key Responsibilities:
Develop and produce design drawings, layouts, and conceptual designs
Prepare design documentation and perform supporting calculations
Provide engineering support during project execution and field activities
Conduct site walkdowns at construction and operating facilities (travel may be required)
Support project planning by providing schedule and staffing input
Lead design efforts on projects with general oversight
Required Qualifications:
7–10 years of experience in instrumentation and controls design
Proficiency with CAD platforms or integrated design tools
Experience with instrumentation systems, including pressure, flow, and temperature devices
Experience developing instrument datasheets and installation details
Familiarity with Piping & Instrumentation Diagrams (P&IDs), DCS wiring, and loop sheets
Experience supporting field activities and site walkdowns
Strong understanding of industrial processes and control systems
Soft Skills:
Ability to build effective relationships with plant personnel, engineering teams, and vendors
Strong communication and coordination skills
Ability to work independently and lead tasks or small projects
Salary : $55 - $60
