Electrical Engineer – Food & Beverage

About the Role
We are seeking a motivated Electrical Engineer with experience in Food & Beverage and industrial/process environments to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to work on diverse projects from concept through completion across multiple industries including industrial, healthcare, and commercial sectors.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform electrical design from conceptual phase through detailed design and completion
- Develop, modify, and review production drawings for a variety of facility types (process, industrial, commercial, etc.)
- Design electrical systems and components based on project requirements and specifications
- Apply knowledge of electrical engineering principles, codes, and industry standards
- Support project managers by researching and compiling technical data
- Update and maintain drawings using CAD software (AutoCAD, MicroStation, etc.)
- Assist with client presentations, shop drawing reviews, and contract administration
- Conduct field inspections, measurements, and calculations as required
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project success
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality expectations
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering (ABET accredited) 3 years of experience
- OR
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering Technology FE (Fundamentals of Engineering) 3 years of experience
- OR
- Master’s Degree in Electrical Engineering 2 years of experience
- Experience in EPC, industrial, process, or Food & Beverage projects
- Strong understanding of electrical design principles, codes, and standards
- Proficiency in AutoCAD, MicroStation, and other 2D/3D design tools
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications
- EIT (Engineer-in-Training) Certification
- Prior experience in a consulting engineering environment
