🚨 We’re Hiring: Civil Engineer

📅 6-Month Contract (Potential for Extension)

The Planet Group is seeking a Civil Engineer to support multidisciplinary design and construction projects across industries including power, healthcare, airports, industrial, commercial, governmental, manufacturing, and military facilities.

In this role, you’ll collaborate with cross-functional project teams to deliver high-quality engineering solutions from conceptual design through final construction documentation.

🔹 Responsibilities:

• Perform civil engineering design and analysis for new construction, renovation, and redevelopment projects

• Prepare, modify, and review production drawings and technical documentation

• Design civil systems and components based on project requirements

• Conduct engineering calculations, field inspections, and site measurements

• Support shop drawing reviews, client presentations, and contract administration activities

• Collaborate with engineers, designers, project managers, and stakeholders throughout all project phases

• Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and engineering best practices

🔹 Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Civil Engineering or related engineering technology field from an ABET-accredited program

• California Professional Engineer (PE) license required

• 2–3 years of civil engineering experience, preferably within a consulting environment

• Strong proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, BIM/Revit, PLS, PLS-CADD, RISA-3D, MathCAD, and hydraulic/hydrologic analysis software

• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills

• EIT certification preferred
