A well-established engineering organization is expanding its California project team and seeking a Civil Engineer who wants to play a visible role in shaping site development and infrastructure work from early planning through delivery. What You Will Do
- Lead or support civil engineering design packages for commercial, industrial, and general site development projects
- Prepare grading, drainage, utility, and related improvement plans using standard civil design platforms
- Perform site due diligence, technical analysis, and feasibility reviews to help guide project direction
- Coordinate with internal design partners, agencies, consultants, and clients throughout the project lifecycle
- Assist with permit applications, jurisdictional responses, and plan revisions to keep work moving efficiently
- Contribute to project schedules, budget awareness, and production milestones
- Help develop reports, calculations, specifications, and other supporting engineering documentation
- Participate in construction phase support, including reviewing submittals, responding to field questions, and helping resolve design issues
- Maintain a strong focus on quality, constructability, and compliance with applicable codes and standards
What You Bring
- Bachelor’s degree in civil engineering or a related discipline
- Three or more years of professional experience in civil engineering, land development, or site design
- Working knowledge of AutoCAD Civil 3D and standard engineering production workflows
- Ability to interpret design criteria, agency requirements, and construction documents
- Strong analytical thinking, organization, and communication skills
- Comfort working in a team setting while also managing individual responsibilities effectively
- PE license is welcome, or clear progress toward licensure is valued
