The Pizza Press and Front Room Lounge at The Anaheim Hotel offer unique indoor and outdoor event spaces just steps from Disneyland. Our venue hosts weddings, quinceañeras, birthday celebrations, corporate meetings, private parties, and special events for up to 350 guests.
As we continue to expand our banquet and catering program, we are seeking an enthusiastic and organized Event Sales & Catering Coordinator to help grow our events business and deliver exceptional guest experiences.
Position Overview
The Event Sales & Catering Coordinator plays a key role in both event sales and event execution. This position is ideal for a hospitality professional who enjoys building client relationships, coordinating details, and helping create memorable events. You will work closely with leadership, culinary teams, and operations staff to support the planning and successful execution of private events and catering functions.
Responsibilities
- Respond to event and catering inquiries in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct property tours for prospective clients
- Assist with creating proposals and customized event packages
- Follow up with leads and help convert inquiries into booked events
- Prepare and organize Banquet Event Orders (BEOs)
- Coordinate event logistics with culinary and operations teams
- Support on site event execution and client communication
- Maintain accurate records of inquiries, bookings, and client interactions
- Conduct post event follow up to encourage repeat business and referrals
- Assist with the continued growth and development of the events program
Qualifications
- 1 to 3 years of hospitality, restaurant, hotel, catering, or event experience preferred
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Highly organized with strong attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously
- Professional appearance and customer focused attitude
- Self motivated with excellent follow through
Preferred Qualifications
- Event planning or event coordination experience
- Sales, hospitality sales, or customer service experience
- Knowledge of food and beverage operations
