Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain quality control plans and procedures.
- Conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective and preventive actions (CAPA).
- Perform internal and external audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations.
- Analyze quality data and metrics to identify trends and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and supply chain teams to resolve quality issues.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by ensuring quality requirements are met from design to launch.
- Manage and maintain quality documentation, including specifications, test plans, and records.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related technical field.
- 2 years of experience in a Quality Engineering role within a manufacturing environment.
- Proficiency with core quality tools and methodologies (e.g., SPC, FMEA, Root Cause Analysis, 8D, PPAP).
- Strong understanding of quality management systems (e.g., ISO 9001, IATF 16949).
- Demonstrated ability to analyze data, identify trends, and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for collaborating with cross-functional teams.
- Lean Six Sigma Black Belt certification.
- ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or Certified Quality Auditor (CQA).
- Proficiency with statistical software such as Minitab or JMP.
- Experience with a specific industry quality standard (e.g., IATF 16949, ISO 13485, AS9100).
