The Opportunity

Key Responsibilities
- Develop and program PLC logic for new and existing automated manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Design, configure, and implement HMI/SCADA systems for operator interface and data acquisition.
- Perform troubleshooting, debugging, and diagnostics on PLC-controlled machinery to resolve operational issues.
- Conduct factory and site acceptance testing (FAT/SAT) and commission new automation systems.
- Create and maintain detailed documentation for PLC programs, HMI screens, and electrical schematics.
- Collaborate with engineering, production, and maintenance teams to define requirements and implement solutions.
- Implement modifications and upgrades to existing PLC programs to improve efficiency, safety, and reliability.
- Proficiency in programming and troubleshooting Rockwell Automation (Allen-Bradley) PLCs (ControlLogix, CompactLogix) and associated software (Studio 5000 Logix Designer).
- Experience with HMI/SCADA system design, development, and integration (e.g., FactoryTalk View, Ignition).
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, motor controls (VFDs, servo drives), and industrial communication protocols (EtherNet/IP, Modbus TCP/IP).
- Proven ability to diagnose, troubleshoot, and resolve complex automation issues in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience and certifications.
- Experience integrating industrial robots (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Proficiency with SQL databases for data logging and reporting.
- Experience with industrial vision systems (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) integration.
- Familiarity with higher-level programming languages (e.g., C#, Python) for custom applications or data analysis.
