Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and optimize manufacturing processes for efficiency, quality, and cost reduction.
- Support new product introduction (NPI) by developing and implementing robust manufacturing procedures and equipment.
- Troubleshoot production issues, identify root causes, and implement effective corrective and preventive actions.
- Specify, procure, qualify, and maintain manufacturing equipment, tooling, and fixtures.
- Create and maintain detailed manufacturing documentation, including work instructions, process flows, and PFDs.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies to drive continuous improvement.
- Collaborate with R&D, Quality, and Production teams to ensure seamless product flow and resolve technical challenges.
- Bachelor's degree in Manufacturing, Mechanical, Industrial, or a related engineering discipline.
- 3 years of experience in manufacturing process development, optimization, and validation.
- Demonstrated proficiency in Lean Manufacturing principles and Six Sigma methodologies.
- Experience with CAD software (e.g., SolidWorks, AutoCAD) and manufacturing simulation tools.
- Proven ability to conduct root cause analysis and implement effective corrective actions for production issues.
- Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
- Experience with robotics, automation, or Industry 4.0 technologies
- Proficiency in advanced simulation software (e.g., process flow, discrete event)
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
- Experience with ERP systems and manufacturing execution systems (MES)
