Key Responsibilities
- Lead internal IATF 16949 system, process, and product audits.
- Facilitate and ensure effective implementation of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, SPC, and MSA.
- Drive root cause analysis and implement corrective/preventive actions using structured problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys).
- Monitor key quality metrics, analyze data, and identify opportunities for continuous improvement in manufacturing processes.
- Develop and maintain quality documentation, procedures, and work instructions in compliance with IATF 16949 requirements.
- Serve as a primary contact for customer quality concerns, managing resolution and communication of quality issues.
- Provide training and guidance to production personnel on quality standards, tools, and best practices.
- In-depth knowledge and practical application of IATF 16949 standard requirements.
- Proficiency in AIAG Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC).
- Demonstrated experience with automotive problem-solving methodologies (e.g., 8D, 5 Whys, Ishikawa).
- Experience conducting internal and/or supplier quality system audits (e.g., IATF 16949, VDA 6.3).
- Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality control techniques, and metrology.
- Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification.
- Proficiency with statistical analysis software (e.g., Minitab, JMP).
- ASQ Certified Quality Auditor (CQA) or Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) certification.
- Experience with Lean manufacturing principles and implementation.
