Key Responsibilities
- Manage full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for production, technical, and administrative roles.
- Administer employee relations, including conflict resolution, investigations, and disciplinary actions specific to a manufacturing environment.
- Ensure HR compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws, including OSHA and manufacturing-specific regulations.
- Facilitate performance management processes, including goal setting, performance reviews, and development plans.
- Coordinate and deliver HR-related training programs, focusing on safety, compliance, and skills development for factory personnel.
- Support workers' compensation claims management and actively promote a safe working culture.
- Maintain accurate HR records and leverage HRIS for data management and reporting.
- 3-5 years of HR Generalist experience, preferably in a manufacturing or industrial environment
- In-depth knowledge of federal and state labor laws, including OSHA regulations
- Proven ability to manage full-cycle recruitment for various manufacturing roles
- Strong skills in employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management
- Familiarity with workers' compensation processes and workplace safety programs
- Experience supporting a unionized workforce.
- Bilingual proficiency (e.g., Spanish).
- Familiarity with manufacturing safety regulations (e.g., OSHA).
- Understanding of lean manufacturing principles or continuous improvement methodologies.
