Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and test electrical systems for manufacturing equipment and processes.
- Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electrical malfunctions in production machinery and control systems.
- Program, configure, and maintain Programmable Logic Controllers (PLCs), HMIs, and industrial automation systems.
- Develop and implement preventive maintenance strategies for electrical infrastructure and equipment.
- Ensure all electrical systems and installations comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and safety regulations (e.g., NFPA 70E).
- Lead or support electrical engineering projects, including upgrades, new installations, and process improvements.
- Create and maintain accurate electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and other technical documentation.
- Proficiency in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens) and HMI development.
- Strong understanding of industrial control systems, automation, and robotics.
- Experience with power distribution, motor control centers (MCCs), and variable frequency drives (VFDs).
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems and perform root cause analysis in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge of electrical safety standards (e.g., NFPA 70E) and best practices for industrial applications.
- PLC programming and HMI development experience (e.g., Rockwell, Siemens)
- Experience with industrial robotics and vision systems
- Familiarity with SCADA/MES systems and industrial networking protocols
- Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma certification
