Key Responsibilities
- Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive EHS policies, procedures, and programs.
- Ensure facility compliance with all federal, state, and local EHS regulations and company standards.
- Conduct regular risk assessments, safety audits, and incident investigations to identify hazards and implement corrective actions.
- Manage and deliver EHS training programs for all employees, contractors, and visitors.
- Oversee hazardous waste management, air emissions, wastewater discharge, and other environmental compliance activities.
- Lead emergency preparedness planning, drills, and response efforts.
- Drive continuous improvement in EHS performance metrics and foster a strong safety culture.
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related technical field.
- 5-7 years of progressive EHS experience within a manufacturing environment.
- In-depth knowledge of OSHA, EPA, and other federal, state, and local EHS regulations specific to manufacturing.
- Proven ability to develop, implement, and manage EHS programs and management systems (e.g., ISO 14001, ISO 45001).
- Professional certification such as CSP (Certified Safety Professional) or CIH (Certified Industrial Hygienist).
- Certified Safety Professional (CSP) or Certified Industrial Hygienist (CIH) designation
- Experience with Process Safety Management (PSM) regulations and implementation
- Demonstrated experience managing EHS programs across multiple manufacturing sites
- Lean/Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt certification
