Key Responsibilities
- Design, program, and troubleshoot PLC and HMI systems for manufacturing equipment.
- Develop and implement control system solutions to optimize production processes and efficiency.
- Integrate new automation machinery and components into existing manufacturing lines.
- Diagnose and resolve complex electrical, software, and automation related issues on the production floor.
- Ensure all control systems comply with safety standards, industry regulations, and company policies.
- Provide technical support and training to maintenance and production teams on automated systems.
- Manage and execute control system upgrade projects from conception through commissioning.
- Expertise in PLC programming (e.g., Rockwell/Allen-Bradley, Siemens).
- Proficiency in HMI/SCADA system design and implementation.
- Strong understanding of industrial networking protocols (e.g., Ethernet/IP, Profinet).
- Proven ability to troubleshoot and debug complex automation systems.
- Experience with industrial electrical control panel design and schematics.
- Familiarity with machine safety standards and their application in control systems.
- Robotics programming experience (e.g., FANUC, KUKA, ABB).
- Industrial vision system (e.g., Cognex, Keyence) development and integration.
- MES/SCADA integration experience (e.g., Ignition, Wonderware).
- Database development/querying skills (e.g., SQL) for data logging and reporting.
