Key Responsibilities
- Manage all financial accounting, reporting, and general ledger operations.
- Oversee cost accounting activities, including standard costing, variance analysis, and inventory valuation.
- Develop and manage annual budgets, forecasts, and long-range financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Analyze financial performance, identify trends, and provide recommendations for operational improvements.
- Manage cash flow, working capital, and capital expenditure processes.
- Lead the month-end and year-end close processes.
- Minimum 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 3-5 years in a manufacturing environment.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA or CMA certification strongly preferred.
- Expert proficiency with ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
- Deep understanding of cost accounting, inventory valuation, standard costing, and variance analysis specific to manufacturing.
- Proven ability to prepare accurate financial statements, manage budgets, forecasts, and ensure GAAP compliance.
- Experience with ERP system implementation or optimization in a manufacturing environment (e.g., SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics 365).
- Proficiency in data analytics and business intelligence tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Alteryx) for financial modeling and insights.
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma principles and their financial implications.
- Experience with international consolidations, multi-currency transactions, and foreign exchange risk management.
