As a Social Emotional Coach at The Pinnacle School, you will provide one-on-one behavioral and emotional support to students, helping them build self-regulation, social skills, and confidence. You’ll work closely with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure students thrive both academically and emotionally.

What You’ll Need
- Bachelor’s degree in education, psychology, or a related field
- Experience supporting children or adolescents with behavioral or learning differences
- Calm, caring, and patient demeanor grounded in professionalism and empathy
- Strong collaboration, active listening, and communication skills
- Basic computer proficiency for documentation and communication tasks
- Availability to work 11 months (this is an 11 month position which includes the academic school year and a 4 week summer program in July)
- Be available to work Monday-Friday 7:30am-4:00pm
- Provide one-on-one classroom support focused on academic engagement, emotional regulation, and social interaction
- Monitor and document student behavior, progress, and responses to interventions
- Assist students with self-help and daily living skills to promote independence and confidence
- Implement de-escalation and calming strategies to maintain safety and support emotional stability
- Collaborate with teachers, therapists, and families to ensure consistent, individualized student support
