Summary
We are seeking a Director of Nursing to lead our nursing team at The Pines Post Acute & Memory Care. This role is essential in ensuring the delivery of high-quality patient care while fostering an environment of compassion and professionalism. Responsibilities
- Oversee all nursing operations to ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
- Develop and implement effective nursing care plans tailored to residents' needs.
- Lead, mentor, and support nursing staff to promote professional development and teamwork.
- Manage medical records and ensure accurate documentation of patient care.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to enhance patient outcomes.
- Ensure resident rights are upheld while providing compassionate care.
- Monitor quality improvement initiatives within the nursing department.
Requirements
- Registered Nurse (RN) license required; BSN preferred.
- Proven experience in a nursing leadership role within a skilled nursing or rehabilitation setting.
- Strong knowledge of medical records management and care planning processes.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Working knowledge of Point Click Care
- At least 1 year of long term care experience.
