Job Summary:
We are seeking passionate and customer-focused Retail Store Associates (PT) to join our team at The Pieceful Project, a retail store specializing in LEGO, board games, trading card games, and puzzles. As a Retail Store Associate, you will play a vital role in providing exceptional customer service, maintaining inventory levels, and contributing to the overall success of our store. This position offers an exciting opportunity to be part of a growing retail venture in Cary, IL.
Responsibilities:
- Provide excellent customer service by assisting customers with inquiries, purchases, and product information
- Maintain a tidy and organized store environment to enhance the shopping experience- Assist in managing inventory levels and restocking shelves as needed
- Operate cash registers and process transactions accurately
- Collaborate with team members to achieve sales targets and store objectives
- Assist in setting up and executing marketing initiatives and promotional events
- Contribute to the overall success of the store by performing various tasks as needed
- Brick sorting for our BrickLink website
- More focused organization of the store and aesthetics
Requirements:
- Previous experience in retail or customer service (preferred)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment
- Basic math skills and proficiency in handling cash transactions
- Willingness to learn and adapt to new tasks and responsibilities
- (NOT required but a plus!) LEGO, board game, trading card game, or puzzle knowledge
- (NOT required but a plus!) Comfortability hosting groups of people for events, leagues, birthday parties, and more
- Willingness to engage with customers proactively
