Duties
- Safely transport prepared food from the kitchen to guest tables, ensuring presentation and quality are maintained
- Assist with clearing tables, bussing dishes, and maintaining cleanliness in dining areas to uphold high standards of hygiene and guest satisfaction
- Handle food safely by following proper food handling and safety procedures at all times
- Communicate effectively with kitchen staff using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS to coordinate orders and special requests
- Support the serving team by delivering beverages, condiments, and additional items as needed to enhance guest experience
- Assist with light cleaning duties including wiping down surfaces and organizing service stations to ensure a tidy environment
- Use safe manual handling practices when lifting heavy trays or boxes of supplies to prevent injury
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, restaurant, or hospitality environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while following proper lifting techniques
- Strong communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Knowledge of food safety standards and proper food handling procedures
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Experience with food running, serving, bussing, or in-person customer service enhances your candidacy
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform physical tasks including manual handling and light cleaning tasks
