Role Overview
The Business Development Senior Specialist plays a vital role in executing strategic initiatives to enhance the firm's market visibility and client engagement. Collaborating closely with leadership and practice groups, this position drives business development projects that support growth and firm positioning.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct targeted research and competitive analysis to support business development efforts
- Assist in preparing high-quality pitches, proposals, and RFP responses by researching firm and partner experience and crafting compelling messages
- Support administration of business development initiatives, improving processes and efficiency
- Coordinate and draft submissions for directories and awards, including Chambers, Legal 500, and others
- Maintain tracking systems and databases such as pitch trackers, collateral libraries, and experience databases
- Collaborate on special marketing projects and initiatives as needed
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring deadlines and high standards are met
Requirements
Must-Have Qualifications
- 4 years of experience in professional services business development, preferably in a law firm setting
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Strong project management and organizational skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication abilities
- Proficiency with marketing technology and tools
- Fluency in French (written and oral)
- Legal or law firm business development experience preferred
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Prior experience with legal directories and awards submissions
- Advanced understanding of legal industry trends and competitive landscape

Salary : $90,000 - $110,000
