IT Project Manager
Reporting to the Senior Manager within the Program Management Office, the IT Project Manager will collaborate with business sponsors, global stakeholders, and technical teams to coordinate and deliver technology initiatives as part of the enterprise PMO group.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage small to mid-sized projects independently and contribute to larger, complex programs alongside senior PMs.
- Build and maintain project schedules, status updates, risk/issue logs, and tracking tools.
- Oversee cross-functional collaboration, track interdependencies, and drive timely delivery of milestones.
- Organize and facilitate meetings, including agenda preparation, decision tracking, and task follow-up.
- Keep project management tools current with accurate progress reporting.
- Define scope, objectives, resource needs, and timelines while ensuring alignment with budgetary guidelines.
- Monitor project deliverables through scheduling, milestone tracking, and progress checks.
- Guide teams in adopting lifecycle methodologies (SDLC or hybrid models) and demonstrate the value of process adherence.
- Direct high-visibility projects through each stage of execution while keeping leadership informed.
- Produce required documentation such as project charters, implementation strategies, and status reports.
- Deliver presentations, written updates, and post-project evaluations to identify lessons learned.
- Support requirements gathering, workflow analysis, and operational process definition.
- Promote collaboration across business and technical teams while fostering clear communication.
- Apply analytical thinking to propose improvements in systems and processes.
- Identify risks, manage changes in scope or budget, and apply mitigation strategies effectively.
- Work occasional flexible hours to coordinate with colleagues in North America, Europe, and Asia-Pacific.
- Participate in occasional travel for team meetings or project-related needs.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong expertise in project management frameworks and practices.
- Deep familiarity with software development methodologies and tools.
- Solid background in IT service management (policies, processes, and standards).
- Strong command of Microsoft Office applications and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Portfolio, Structure).
- Ability to communicate technical information clearly to non-technical audiences.
- Customer-focused mindset with a collaborative approach.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
- Professional certifications such as PMP, CAPM, or CSM are preferred.
- 7 years of experience delivering IT-related projects or programs.
- 3 years working within Agile, Scrum, or blended delivery models.

Salary : $130,000 - $175,000
