Responsibilities/Qualifications
- Lead and manage a consolidated Legal Billing Administrative Team, overseeing e-Billing, Accounting Service Desk, Matter Creation, Rates Administration, and Operations Support to meet and exceed departmental service standards
- Evaluate team performance, conduct annual reviews, and provide ongoing coaching to drive professional development and high performance
- Ensure timely, accurate, and complete first-level support for all clients, addressing escalations and complex issues independently
- Monitor, aggregate, and communicate service trends and key performance metrics to Billing leadership to enhance overall billing effectiveness
- Drive continuous process improvement initiatives, identifying opportunities for automation, technology upgrades, and workflow optimization
- Develop, implement, and enforce policies, service level agreements (SLAs), escalation processes, and ticket handling protocols
- Oversee e-billing client setup, matter creation, and billing rate accuracy, ensuring data integrity across all systems
- Lead cross-functional projects, collaborating with Accounting, Billing, IT, and external vendors to implement solutions and resolve system issues
- Analyze and redesign business processes to maximize operational efficiency and align with best practices
- Maintain current knowledge of industry trends, regulatory requirements, and emerging technologies, incorporating insights into team practices
- Facilitate regular communication of service desk performance, trends, and improvements to the broader Billing department
- Partner with other departments to document system and procedural issues, develop solutions, and implement process improvements
- Serve as a subject matter expert for internal and external stakeholders on billing systems, operational processes, and workflow enhancements
- Oversee large-scale initiatives, including technology upgrades, automation projects, and process standardization across multiple billing teams

Salary : $150,000 - $245,000
