Commercial Refrigeration Technician - Licensed and Non-Licensed

Licensed And Non-Licensed Commercial Refrigeration Technician Job Duties
- Install various commercial refrigeration equipment at customer locations throughout New England, including walk-ins, ice machines, and glycol units
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair equipment on-site both independently and while on the phone with assistance
- Receive dispatches and complete work orders electronically
- Drive and maintain company vehicle
- Maintain parts and equipment inventory on work vehicle and communicate restocking or ordering needs timely to parts department
- In-house refurbishment of used equipment for resale or repurposing
- Training of new employees
- Must have valid driver's license with a clean driving record and be able to pass pre-employment screenings
- EPA Freon certification (Universal)
- Experience educating customers using technical and non-technical language to explain work being performed, particularly during difficult situations
- Comprehension of electrical schematics
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds without assistance and up to 150 pounds with assistance
- Regular Monday - Friday shift. Must be able to participate in the on-call rotation approximately every 4-6 weeks
