Duties
- Safely handle dogs of all sizes and temperaments using proper restraint techniques to ensure safety for both pets and staff
- Compassionately perform bathing, drying, brushing and trimming of nails
- Maintain cleanliness of grooming stations, tools, and equipment to uphold hygiene standards
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating with pet owners about grooming needs and pet health considerations
Qualifications
- Previous professional experience in dog bathing and dog handling is required
- Familiarity with animal restraint, pet care, and animal handling best practices
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with pet owners
- Ability to stand for long periods of time
