- Handle dogs of various sizes and temperaments with patience and confidence, ensuring their safety through proper animal restraint techniques
- Maintain a clean, organized grooming area and sanitize tools and equipment regularly to uphold health standards
- Assess each pet’s condition and communicate any concerns related to health or behavior to pet owners or veterinary staff as needed
- Assist with pet handling during grooming procedures, ensuring gentle yet effective restraint to minimize stress for the animals
- Provide excellent customer service by discussing grooming options, answering questions, and building lasting relationships with clients
- Support pet care routines such as nail trimming, ear cleaning, and coat maintenance to promote overall animal well-being
Experience
- Previous experience in pet grooming is required.
- Knowledge of dog training techniques and veterinary experience is a plus, aiding in safe handling and grooming of diverse breeds
