Veterinary Assistant / Client Service Representative – Join Our Animal-Loving, Family-Oriented Team!

We’re looking for a compassionate, dependable Veterinary Assistant / CSR to join our friendly, family-oriented clinic team. You’ll help us provide exceptional care to our patients and create a welcoming, supportive experience for their people.
No two days are ever the same here — and that’s just the way we like it!
What You’ll Be Doing
As a Veterinary Assistant / CSR, you’ll play a vital role in both medical and front desk operations, ensuring smooth appointments, attentive patient care, and excellent client service.
Medical Support Duties:
- Assisting veterinarians and technicians during exams and procedures
- Safely restraining patients using low-stress handling techniques
- Preparing exam rooms and surgical areas
- Providing nursing support for hospitalized patients
- Administering medications as directed
- Monitoring patients and reporting changes to the medical team
- Running basic laboratory tests
- Cleaning and sterilizing equipment
- Maintaining accurate medical records
- Keeping kennels and clinic areas clean and sanitized
Client Service Responsibilities:
- Greeting clients and patients with a warm, friendly attitude
- Answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, and managing the clinic calendar using Cornerstone software
- Checking clients in and out efficiently
- Processing payments and handling invoices
- Communicating clearly with clients about services, wait times, and follow-up care
- Educating clients on general pet care and post-visit instructions
- Managing client records and ensuring accurate data entry
What We’re Looking For

- Experienced in animal handling and restraint (preferred)
- Comfortable balancing both medical and client-facing responsibilities
- Friendly, professional, and confident communicating in person and on the phone
- Detail-oriented and highly organized
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment
- Compassionate toward both animals and their owners
- A reliable team player who is eager to learn
Previous veterinary, animal care, or customer service experience is preferred—but we value attitude, work ethic, and a genuine love of animals just as much.
We are open to full-time or part-time candidates, but availability all day on Mondays and Fridays is required.
Schedule
- Monday: 7:45 AM – 7:00 PM
- Tuesday: 7:45 AM – 12:00 PM
- Wednesday: 7:45 AM – 5:00 PM
- Thursday: 7:45 AM – 6:00 PM
- Friday: 7:45 AM – 4:00 PM
- Saturday: 8:00 AM – 12:00 PM (occasional)
