Quality Manager – Corrugated & Printed Packaging
- Pennsauken, NJ | Full-time, onsite
- Salaried/Exempt
- $85,000–$125,000, depending on experience and qualifications
- Bonus eligibility after one full year
A packaging manufacturer is seeking a hands-on Quality Manager to lead its plant quality program, strengthen its Quality Management System, and drive safety and continuous improvement.
WHAT YOU’LL DO
- Manage the plant’s quality program and internal quality systems
- Translate customer specifications into manufacturing requirements
- Define inspection, testing, and process-control methods
- Investigate customer and internal quality issues and lead corrective actions
- Develop QMS procedures, work instructions, and forms
- Lead internal and third-party quality audits
- Train plant teams on quality standards and continuous improvement
- Support safety initiatives and lead the facility’s 5S program
WHAT YOU’LL BRING
- Quality-management or supervisory experience in printing or packaging
- Corrugated-packaging experience strongly preferred
- Hands-on experience working directly in a manufacturing or production environment
- Working knowledge of ISO 9001 and FSC/SFI requirements
- Familiarity with PEFC compliance, GMP requirements, internal audits, and third-party audits
- Experience maintaining a QMS and leading corrective-action efforts
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
This position requires a visible, hands-on presence in the production area. Relocation assistance is not available.
Pay: $85,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
