Key Responsibilities
- Draft pleadings, motions, and substantive legal memoranda.
- Conduct legal research and manage discovery, including requests, responses, and e-discovery processes.
- Argue hearings and support trial preparation, working closely with partners and senior associates.
- Take and defend depositions, with increasing autonomy as experience grows.
- Coordinate with local counsel and manage day-to-day litigation tasks.
- 1–9 years of general litigation experience, ideally with commercial exposure.
- Strong academic credentials with excellent research, writing, and organisational skills.
- Courtroom or deposition experience preferred but not essential for junior candidates.
- Senior candidates should have experience managing commercial matters from start to finish.
- Self-starter with sound judgement and the ability to prioritise effectively.
- Member of the Texas Bar (required).
