Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager
Overview
A growing multi-brand consumer products organization is seeking an Ecommerce & Digital Marketing Manager to oversee digital commerce performance across a portfolio of six brands. This is a highly visible role for a commercially minded ecommerce leader who enjoys balancing strategy and execution, driving site performance, managing digital marketing initiatives, and coordinating cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business results.
This position offers the opportunity to influence revenue growth, customer acquisition, retention, and overall digital experience while partnering closely with ecommerce, creative, marketing, and operations stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
Ecommerce Performance & Site Merchandising
- Own day-to-day ecommerce performance metrics including traffic, conversion, average order value, and revenue.
- Manage site merchandising initiatives including collection organization, product sequencing, homepage updates, promotional content, and seasonal launches.
- Monitor site health and customer experience, identifying and resolving issues related to navigation, pricing, inventory visibility, and site functionality.
- Lead ongoing performance reviews and provide actionable recommendations to improve results.
Digital Marketing & Campaign Execution
- Manage promotional calendars, product launches, seasonal campaigns, and key sales events across multiple brands.
- Coordinate with digital marketing partners to ensure paid media, email, SMS, and search initiatives align with promotional priorities.
- Execute and optimize paid advertising campaigns across platforms including Meta and Google.
- Develop and manage email and SMS marketing programs, including segmentation strategies, automation flows, campaign planning, and performance analysis.
- Partner with creative teams to ensure timely delivery of campaign assets and marketing materials.
Cross-Functional Leadership
- Serve as a key liaison between ecommerce, creative, marketing, operations, and inventory planning teams.
- Coordinate product launches and inventory readiness with operational stakeholders.
- Represent ecommerce priorities during planning and strategy discussions across the organization.
- Ensure alignment between business objectives, customer experience, and marketing execution.
Reporting & Optimization
- Maintain ecommerce reporting and performance dashboards.
- Identify opportunities to improve conversion, retention, customer engagement, and profitability.
- Lead A/B testing initiatives across site content, merchandising, and promotional experiences.
- Provide regular business updates, insights, and recommendations to leadership.
Ideal Background
- 4 years of ecommerce management experience within apparel, fashion, lifestyle, consumer goods, or direct-to-consumer brands.
- Strong Shopify expertise, including merchandising, reporting, promotions, product management, and site administration.
- Experience managing multiple brands, product categories, or business units simultaneously.
- Strong understanding of ecommerce KPIs, digital marketing performance metrics, customer acquisition, retention, and conversion optimization.
- Experience with Google Analytics (GA4), Shopify Analytics, Klaviyo, and related reporting platforms.
- Proven ability to manage cross-functional initiatives and drive execution across multiple stakeholders.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Experience
- Experience supporting multiple brands within a shared-services or portfolio business model.
- Background in both ecommerce operations and digital marketing execution.
