Senior Digital Marketing Manager

Job type: On-site (Long Beach, CA), full-time (8:00-4:00)

Salary range: $50k-$60k/year

You are a highly organized marketing, operations, and program management professional who thrives in a fast-paced agency environment. You enjoy leading projects, managing teams, coordinating external partnerships, and ensuring programs run smoothly from planning through execution.


You are equally comfortable discussing strategy with leadership, coordinating deliverables with creative teams, managing client and partner relationships, troubleshooting operational challenges, and driving projects forward across multiple initiatives.


You take ownership, solve problems proactively, and can confidently manage both day-to-day operations and long-term strategic initiatives.


Key Responsibilities


Program Management & Partner Relations

  • Lead the planning, coordination, and execution of workshops, webinars, training programs, community engagement initiatives, and partner events.
  • Manage agency-led programs and strategic initiatives from planning through completion.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for external partners, stakeholders, sponsors, community organizations, and program participants.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with chambers, SBDCs, nonprofit organizations, educational institutions, business associations, and community partners.
  • Coordinate partner communications, scheduling, reporting, follow-ups, and program logistics.
  • Represent Braven at networking events, conferences, workshops, and community engagements to promote agency programs and services.
  • Support executive-led initiatives, speaking engagements, and strategic partnership opportunities.


Project Management & Operations

  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while ensuring deadlines, deliverables, budgets, and program objectives are achieved.
  • Oversee day-to-day operational execution of programs and agency initiatives.
  • Develop, maintain, and improve SOPs, workflows, operational systems, and internal documentation.
  • Identify bottlenecks, process gaps, and operational inefficiencies and proactively implement solutions.
  • Maintain and manage agency systems, software platforms, organizational records, and business documentation.
  • Safeguard confidential company information, business records, certifications, credentials, and internal operational resources.
  • Manage renewals and maintenance of business certifications, registrations, and compliance-related requirements.
  • Troubleshoot operational issues independently and resolve challenges before escalation to executive leadership whenever possible.


Digital Marketing Oversight

  • Oversee social media, email marketing, business listings, paid advertising, and lead generation initiatives.
  • Review campaign performance and provide strategic recommendations for optimization.
  • Collaborate with creative teams to ensure messaging, branding, and campaign execution align with client objectives.
  • Support development of marketing funnels, lead magnets, automation systems, and customer acquisition strategies.
  • Monitor marketing KPIs and prepare performance reports for leadership, clients, and partners.
  • Support promotion of agency programs, workshops, events, and strategic initiatives across digital channels.


Client & Account Management

  • Manage client communications and expectations throughout project lifecycles.
  • Track deliverables and ensure projects remain on schedule.
  • Prepare reports, presentations, performance updates, and client communications.
  • Support onboarding and management of new clients.
  • Maintain strong client relationships while identifying opportunities for growth and retention.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure client satisfaction and successful project delivery.


Team Leadership & Administration

  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and support to internal team members and contractors.
  • Conduct weekly team meetings, account reviews, project check-ins, and operational discussions.
  • Monitor workloads, task assignments, and project management systems to ensure accountability and progress.
  • Coordinate cross-functional teams including account managers, web developers, designers, video editors, copywriters, paid advertising specialists, marketing associates, and contractors.
  • Review contractor invoices, timesheets, and payment requests for accuracy before submitting to accounting
  • Assist with onboarding, training, and development of new team members.
  • Ensure team members have the tools, information, and support needed to perform successfully.


Qualifications

  • 5 years of experience in digital marketing, project management, program management, agency operations, or related fields.
  • Experience managing multiple projects, stakeholders, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Experience working with clients, external partners, community organizations, or business networks.
  • Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience managing cross-functional teams and coordinating project deliverables.
  • Familiarity with Google Workspace, Asana, Claude, Google Analytics, Mailchimp, CRM systems, project management tools, and AI productivity tools.
  • Ability to work independently, make sound decisions, and proactively solve problems.


Preferred Qualifications

  • Agency experience preferred.
  • Experience managing educational, workforce development, community engagement, or business support programs.
  • Experience supervising remote or cross-functional teams.
  • Experience with public-private partnerships, grant-funded programs, or community initiatives is a plus.
  • MBA preferred but not required.


Salary : $50,000 - $60,000
