JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Penn State is searching for a full time Janitorial Worker (Abington) - Grade 10 to join the team. Duties include:- Collect waste from work area; wash chalkboard, gather dirty erasers and supply clean erasers
- Dust, dust mop floors, wet mop floors, spot clean and vacuum rugs, runners, etc. , rotate runners and clean stairways
- Wash glass, mirrors, light fixtures, wainscoting, railings, toilet fixtures, etc. , clean restrooms and stock dispensers
- Wash and polish furniture, brass, etc.
- Maintain equipment and materials used to perform work in a clean and orderly condition
- Lock doors, close and lock windows and turn out lights
- Report needed repairs to supervisor
Job Requirements: Requires the use of simple writing, adding, subtracting, whole numbers and the carrying out of instructions; and the use of fixed gauges and direct reading instruments and devices in which interpretation is not required. Up to 3 months of effective experience.
Work Schedule: 2:00 p.m.-10:30 p.m.
Days Off: Saturday, Sunday
