Some of the job responsibilities of the Life Enrichment Program Assistant / Activity Aide include:
- Implements life enrichment activities on all floors for all residents based on conditions and plans of care.
- Facilitate communication between the program and family members.
- Provides therapeutically friendly environment in the residents’ personal and congregate areas.
- Interviews and assesses all residents for Life Enrichment Program.
- Coordinate completion of preferences for customary routine and activities upon admission, annually or with significant change.
- Coordinate completion of preferences for customary routine and activities for the Care Area Assessments (CAA).
- Assists with the development of person-centered care plans for residents and update progress in the quarterly notes.
- High School Diploma or GED.
- Experience in the healthcare field required.
- Experience working with geriatric population preferred.
- Prior Life Enrichment / Activity Aide experience in a skilled nursing community is a plus.
