Role Description
This part-time hybrid role of Bookkeeper and Marketing Coordinator is located in Boston, MA, with the flexibility to work remotely for certain tasks. The selected individual will handle day-to-day bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining financial records and managing invoicing. Additionally, the candidate will coordinate marketing efforts, including creating marketing materials and conducting outreach campaigns. Collaboration with team members on community initiatives and fundraising projects will also be a crucial part of this role.
Ideal for accounting and marketing college students, or entry-level accountants or marketing professionals. Must be a Permanent USA resident.
- Working hours flexible: able to visit the office once a week.
- 5-8hrs Per Month
- Rate: $20-$25 based on experience and qualification.
Qualifications
- Competency in using QuickBooks online, doing cash flow analysis, and an understanding of financial processes is highly desired.
- Marketing and sales experience to be able to promote TPI afterschool programs and coordinate initiatives that align with The Pathway Initiative Inc.’s mission and goals.
- Strong communication and writing skills, with the ability to create engaging written content and effectively communicate with stakeholders.
- Experience in project management, demonstrating strong organizational and multitasking abilities to handle diverse responsibilities effectively.
- Familiarity with non-profit operations or experience in a similar role is a strong advantage.
- Ability to work in a hybrid environment and adapt to both in-office and remote work requirements.
