We’re hiring a Senior Business Financial Analyst, Logistics, to take the lead on complex financial modeling, reporting, and analysis that informs key decisions and improves operational efficiency across our transportation, warehousing, and distribution operations.

What You'll Analyze & Optimize

Build clarity from complexity and uncover insights that drive success.

• Financial Planning & Forecasting: Lead budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis to support logistics operations
• Operational Cost Analysis: Dive deep into transportation, warehousing, and distribution expenses to uncover cost-saving opportunities
• KPI Reporting: Track key logistics metrics—delivery times, freight costs, inventory levels—and monitor performance against targets
• Profitability Insights: Develop and deliver reporting packages that highlight trends, variances, and opportunities for improved margins
• Strategic Support: Partner with business leaders to evaluate new projects, capital proposals, and pricing strategies
• Partner Evaluations: Analyze the financial impact of logistics partners, providers, and technology changes
• Route & Inventory Optimization: Assess carrier performance and inventory levels to reduce costs and improve efficiency
• Process Improvements: Recommend and implement financial reporting and operational process enhancements
• Policy Compliance: Ensure data, coding, and reporting adhere to corporate standards and timelines

What You Bring to the Table

Numbers matter—but so does how you use them to influence decisions.

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience: 5 years in FP&A, business analysis, or financial strategy roles
• Logistics Knowledge: Strong understanding of supply chain operations, transportation, and cost drivers
• Analytical Expertise: Skilled at cost modeling, budget variance analysis, and scenario evaluation
• Data Tools: Proficient in Excel (including PowerPivot), financial systems, and reporting platforms
• Communication: Able to translate financial data into actionable insights for stakeholders
• Attention to Detail: Strong fact-checking and verification mindset to ensure accuracy and consistency
• Tech Savvy: Comfortable navigating timekeeping software, reporting systems, and enterprise platforms

The salary range listed is based on the geographic zone associated with this role: Seal Beach, CA. Starting pay will be determined by job-related factors including experience, education, and business needs and may be modified at any time.

Zone 2: Starting rate $100,000; up to $130,000 for highly qualified candidates

This job is also eligible for participation in an Incentive Plan with a target payout based on eligible compensation and corporate/individual performance goal attainment.

Annual Incentive Opportunity: 10% of eligible compensation
