Role Description The Warehouse Associate is a full-time, on-site role based in Lorain, OH. This position is responsible for accurately picking, packing, and staging orders, as well as receiving, unloading, and organizing incoming shipments. The Warehouse Associate will operate warehouse equipment, maintain a clean and safe work area, and ensure that parts are stored and labeled correctly for quick and accurate retrieval. Day-to-day tasks include verifying shipment quantities, preparing items for delivery, assisting with inventory counts, and following all safety and company procedures. The role works closely with warehouse leadership and other team members to support fast, accurate order fulfillment and excellent service to customers.
Qualifications
- Experience with shipping & receiving activities, including verifying orders and handling documentation.
- Proficiency in packing and organizing parts to ensure secure, accurate, and efficient order fulfillment.
- Ability to safely perform unloading tasks and move products within the warehouse environment.
- Skill in operating forklifts and pallet jacks in accordance with safety guidelines and company policies.
- Basic math and computer skills to manage inventory, labels, and order information.
- Strong attention to detail, reliability, and ability to follow instructions and safety procedures.
- Ability to lift and move items as required and stand or walk for extended periods.
- Prior warehouse or distribution experience preferred; high school diploma or equivalent is beneficial.
