Role Description
The Parent Educator is a full-time, on-site role located in Tulsa, OK. In this role, the Parent Educator will provide education and training programs that support parenting skills and promote child safety and development. Responsibilities include delivering one-on-one or group parenting sessions, conducting assessments, creating individualized plans for families, and maintaining accurate documentation. The role also involves maintaining regular communication with families and collaborating with other professionals to provide resources and support for clients.
Qualifications
- Experience in Parent Education and Parenting Skills Training
- Proficiency in Case Management
- Strong Communication skills, with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds
- Foundational knowledge of Psychology or related behavioral sciences
- Ability to build rapport with families and facilitate learning in both individual and group settings
- Bachelor’s degree in Social Work, Child Development, Psychology, or a related field preferred
- Experience working with families or children is a plus
