Test Technicians

We are hiring Test Technicians for our client in the Andover, MA, areas.  These individuals will assist engineers with building, installing, and testing high-tech systems.  The Test Technician plays a key role in ensuring systems meet performance and quality standards before shipment.

Key Responsibilities

• Configure, calibrate, and test complex detection systems to meet product specifications
• Perform final acceptance testing on complete systems prior to shipment
• Use diagnostic tools and software to collect and analyze performance data
• Troubleshoot and repair non-conforming units and system defects
• Work from technical manuals, schematics, and engineering procedures
• Document and record all test results and quality data
• Collaborate with Engineering to resolve technical and quality issues
• Assist in improving test methods, procedures, and manufacturing processes
• Perform electromechanical assembly when needed
• Meet daily production and testing targets

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Ability to configure, test, calibrate, and repair complex instruments
• Experience using test equipment such as:
  • Oscilloscopes
  • Digital multimeters
• Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
• Ability to interpret technical data and apply results to real-world problems
• Experience working with manufacturing processes and test procedures
• Associate’s degree or equivalent technical training preferred
• 5 years of testing or instrumentation experience
