Responsibilities
- Prepare and serve a variety of snack foods and beverages with speed and accuracy, following established recipes and safety guidelines
- Operate POS systems for processing transactions efficiently and accurately
- Manage customer orders with professionalism, upselling additional items to enhance guest satisfaction and increase sales
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, adhering to sanitation and food safety standards at all times
- Handle cash register operations, process cash transactions, and balance cash drawers at shift end
- Assist in operating kitchen equipment safely, including fryers, grills, microwaves, and other food prep tools
- Provide excellent customer service by addressing questions, taking orders promptly, and ensuring a welcoming environment
Skills
- Proven experience in food preparation, food service, or quick service/fast food environments
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS for efficient transaction processing
- Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders during busy periods without sacrificing quality or speed
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to upsell products confidently
- Knowledge of food handling procedures, sanitation practices, and food safety regulations
- Ability to operate kitchen equipment safely while maintaining cleanliness standards
- Basic math skills for cash handling, making change accurately, and managing retail transactions
- Previous experience in retail sales transactions or cashiering is a plus
- Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced setting
