A Luxury Senior Living Community In Coral Gables is looking for Assistant to the Director of Activities & Entertainment!
Overview:
Our community offers daily activities such as Zumba, yoga, bingo, trivia and many more.
In addition to the daily schedule, we host large friends and family events monthly which require event planning, decorating and talent management.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Assist the Director in decorating the building for all parties, holidays and special events.
- Follow the daily activities schedule and carry-out the assigned planned activities and events.
- Maintain an ongoing inventory of departmental supplies and equipment.
Qualifications
This position works 9am -5pm Sunday - Thursday. Days off are Fridays and Saturdays.
MUST have flexible availability to work evenings and weekends when needed.
- Fluent in Spanish is a huge plus!
- Experience in party planning

- Being creative and have appropriate input in creating new activities for the program
.
- Must have a high school degree or equivalent.
- Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written in English.

Responsible, always on time, resourceful, very accurate and detail-oriented.
Must have an outgoing personality to engage with residents and family members.
Self-motivated with a strong work ethic and the ability to work independently AND as a team member.
