General Summary/Purpose

The Videographer is responsible for producing high-quality, engaging video content that tells the Paducah Bank story across digital and social platforms. This position exists to visually communicate the bank’s purpose, highlight the people and communities we serve, and strengthen our brand through authentic storytelling.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience in filming, editing, and managing video content for social platforms, with a strong understanding of lighting, sound, composition, and production quality. This role transforms ideas into compelling visual stories that support marketing initiatives, employee engagement, and community outreach.

Key Duties and Responsibilities

#1 Create & Produce Video Content Percentage of time: 40%

• Plan, film, and edit professional video content for Facebook, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube, and the Paducah Bank website—at a quality suitable for use on streaming platforms and network television.
• Capture stories that highlight customers, employees, and community involvement in alignment with the bank’s “WOW” brand.
• Capture stories that highlight customers, employees, Teen Ambassadors, and community involvement in alignment with the bank’s “WOW” brand.
• Apply best practices for lighting, audio, and visual composition to ensure professional-quality production.
• Deliver projects that meet brand, compliance, and accessibility standards.

#2 Manage On-Site & In-House Video Production Percentage of time: 25%

• Utilize the in-house social media room to film interviews, employee features, and customer spotlights.
• Travel to branches, customer locations, and community events for on-site filming.
• Set up, operate, and maintain video, audio, and lighting equipment to ensure consistent quality.
• Oversee post-production processes including editing, color correction, and sound balancing.

#3 Support Internal and Affiliate Projects Percentage of time: 20%

• Attend community events sponsored by Paducah Bank to capture authentic moments of engagement and community impact.
• Manage video and content creation for the bank’s WOW Wagon (ice cream truck), producing seasonal video stories and event highlights from April through October. In addition, this position will oversee the day-to-day operations of the WOW Wagon, including restocking ice cream, coordinating requests for appearances, and securing volunteers or serving as the on-site representative when needed.
• Collaborate with subject-matter experts to develop video content that supports employee training and onboarding across departments.
• Produce educational videos that help customers better understand Paducah Bank’s products, services, and digital tools.
• Showcase how Paducah Bank “WOWs” the community through participation, volunteerism, and sponsorships.
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate logistics, video needs, and creative coverage plans for events.

#4 Contribute to Creative Strategy & Social Platform Management Percentage of time: 15%

• Participate in marketing strategy meetings, offering creative input on video campaigns and storytelling approaches.
• Stay informed on emerging social media trends, video formats, and platform algorithms to optimize audience engagement.
• Support special initiatives such as employee storytelling, product launches, and community features through creative video production.
• Partner with the marketing team to schedule, post, and track video performance across platforms.
