The PADONIA 30-acre campus located in Cockeysville includes Maryland’s largest swim club, top Baltimore caterers for weddings, mitzvahs, company picnics as well as celebrations, PADONIA Learning Center for Infants to Pre-K and PADONIA Summer Camps for ages 4 to 13.
Job Summary :
The Bartender/Server position is the face of our food and beverage sales. This person will interact with customers, take orders, and serve food and drinks. The goal of this position is to exceed customers' expectations by providing efficient and friendly service at special on-site events and at our various indoor and outdoor locations within our club. This position reports to the Club Manager on site.
Bartender/Server Responsibilities:
- Greet customers ina timely& friendlymanner and suggestively upsell products.
- Prepare alcoholic & non-alcoholic drinks with consistency and speed in a high volume,fast-pacedenvironmentforseasonal outdoorbars.
- Assesscustomer’sneeds,preference,makingsuggestions.Upsellproducts.
- Serve alcohol responsibly and within all legallimits.
- Friendly & energetic personality in a team-orientated workenvironment.
- Accurately handle cash,card& memberaccount transactions throughPOSsystem.
- Possess extensive knowledgeof standardizeddrink& food recipes&accurately takeorders.
- Maintainpristineenvironmentsfor allcustomers.Follow allpropersanitation protocols.
- Stock and rotateproductsdaily.Replenish supplies as needed.Keepliquorroom, walk-in, and clean andorganized.
- General cleaning including, but not limited to, washing dishes,cleaningandmaintainingall equipment in the cabana bar, taking out the trash, sanitizing equipment and workstations,bathrooms,sweeping, mopping floors, and bathrooms.
- Prepared toassistcustomers with any questions aboutPADONIA.Assistother employees as needed.
- Provide high volume,fast-paced service to our seasonal dining, bar & pool side areas.
- Assistmanagers from other departments as needed
- Follow all safety and health guidelines as outlined by the company.
- Complete all other duties as assigned orrequired.
- Work as needed in all other Departments of PADONIA – including Catering and Special Events- front and back of house, Park Operations, The Grille, Windy Valley.
Qualifications:
- 2 yearshigh volume bartending experiencerequired.
- TIPS Certificationrequired.
- Lift 50lbs & ability to stand for extended period.Ascend/descend stairs and ladders.
- Ability to work flexible shift/hours including weekday, evening, weekend, and holidayhours, throughout theseason.Ability to work overtime if needed.
- Must be able to work both indoors and at outdoor venues that includes a variety of weather conditions including hot or cold temperatures.
- Energetic, motivated,organized.
