What are the responsibilities and job description for the Paraprofessional position at The Owl Education Group?
About The Barred Academy
At The Barred Academy, we do things differently—because our students do. We’re on a mission to empower neurodiverse learners through personalized, evidence-based instruction in a nurturing, whole-child environment. We use creative, multi-sensory teaching methods to unlock potential and build confidence in every student. We’re not just a school—we’re a community of educators, learners, and families working together to reimagine what’s possible in education. If you're passionate about equity in learning and thrive in a collaborative, mission-driven environment, we want you on our team.

Working side-by-side with the team, you will monitor student engagement, emotional regulation, and behavioral needs in order to provide assistance with accessing our sensory centers, outside regulation tools, or calming centers. Additionally, you will provide students ongoing, in the moment, conflict resolution support through a collaborative problem solving approach. You’ll be a key contributor to our close-knit community, helping to ensure every student feels safe, valued, and heard.
