Osborne Construction is seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our in-house team and provide essential day-to-day support to our Financial Controller. What You'll Do

As the Accounting Clerk, you'll provide essential support to our financial operations, working closely with the Financial Controller to ensure accurate, timely, and efficient financial processes.

Key Responsibilities Include

  • Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable, including vendor maintenance and payments.
  • Enter and code invoices into QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct; ensure all approvals and documentation are complete.
  • Assist with reconciliations of bank accounts, credit cards, and general ledger entries.
  • Help prepare and process vendor checks, electronic payments, and expense reimbursements.
  • Assist with tracking lien waivers and maintaining vendor compliance documentation.
  • Support preparation of month-end reports and year-end documentation as needed
  • Maintain accurate and organized financial records within digital systems.
  • Seek opportunities to streamline accounting tasks and support process improvements.

What You Need To Bring

  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (or equivalent work experience)
  • 2 years of relevant experience in financial management, preferably in construction or a project-based industry
  • Experience with QuickBooks Online, Sage Intacct, or similar financial software
  • Solid understanding of accounting principles and accounts payable/receivable processes
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently
  • High level of integrity, confidentiality, and ethical standards
  • Authorization to work in the U.S.
  • Ability to pass a background check and drug screen
  • Valid driver's license

Compensation And Benefits

  • Salary Range: $24.00-$30.00/hour (based on experience)
