Pavilion Concierge
The Pavilion at The Osborn | Rye, NY
Status: Full Time
Rate: $20.50/hour
Schedule: Monday - Friday 10:00am - 6:00pm

As a Pavilion Concierge, you are the welcoming presence and calm problem‑solver who helps keep our Pavilion running smoothly. You provide exceptional service to residents, families, visitors, and staff—turning everyday interactions into meaningful experiences through professionalism, warmth, and attention to detail.
Key ResponsibilitiesFront‑Line Guest & Resident Support
- Greet residents, families, visitors, vendors, and referral sources with professionalism and warmth
- Answer phones; route calls and messages accurately; provide helpful information and assistance
- Serve as a welcoming ambassador for The Pavilion and The Osborn community
Unit & Administrative Support
- Perform clerical tasks including filing, basic data entry, record organization, and general desk support
- Maintain a clean, organized concierge desk and common areas
- Assist nursing and interdisciplinary teams as needed
Resident‑Centered Service
- Respond to resident call bells as appropriate and follow up to ensure needs are addressed
- Coordinate communication among residents, families, staff, and referral sources
- Escalate concerns promptly to the appropriate team member
Operations & Prioritization
- Manage multiple requests efficiently in a fast‑paced environment
- Exercise sound judgment, professionalism, and discretion at all times
What You’ll Bring
- Strong people skills with a consistently friendly, professional demeanor
- Genuine respect for older adults and an understanding of age‑related needs
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a busy setting
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel; Publisher a plus)
- High school diploma or equivalent, prior office/concierge experience, or a comparable combination
- Commitment to integrity and confidentiality
Physical & Sensory Requirements
- Ability to sit or stand for extended periods and move throughout the building
- Lift or carry 10–25 lbs and push/pull up to 25 lbs over short distances
- Communicate clearly in English, in person and by phone (with or without reasonable accommodations)
