Laundry Worker (Per Diem)

Join The Osborn, a premier senior living community nestled on a beautiful 56-acre campus in Rye, NY. We are currently seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Laundry Worker to support our Environmental Services team on a per diem basis.
About the Role:
As a Laundry Worker, you’ll play an important part in maintaining cleanliness and comfort for our residents. Your duties will include handling linens and garments with care while keeping our laundry area organized and running efficiently.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sort, wash, dry, fold, and iron linens and clothing
- Operate and maintain commercial laundry equipment
- Inspect laundry items for stains or damage and treat accordingly
- Maintain cleanliness and orderliness in the laundry area
Qualifications:
- Prior laundry or housekeeping experience preferred
- Familiarity with operating laundry equipment
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to lift and carry heavy loads and stand for extended periods
Rate of Pay: $18.98 per hour
Status: Per Diem (Flexible hours based on need)
