Using excellent customer service and communications skills, your primary duties in this role include:

• Focus on our patient experience – check-in to check-out – all aspects of the patient visit and next steps when follow-up services are ordered.
• Understanding of what drives patient satisfaction as well as dissatisfaction. Following and trending our patient survey results post-visits.
• Manage the department while also functioning as the primary liaison between patients, clinic staff, physicians, and midlevel providers to provide excellent patient care.
• Depending on the division's needs, this position may supervise and coordinate the activities of all or some of the following: registration, scheduling, medical records, medical assistants, and/or technicians.
• Builds strong department accountability and works with the Clinical Manager and Director to create a nimble, safe, and respectful environment.
• Assists Clinical Manager and Director with duties such as budgeting, project management, reporting, and implementing clinic initiatives.
• Serves as primary contact at the location for resolving issues relating to facilities and grounds, patient concerns, patient confidentiality and release records, safety, security, and emergency preparedness.
• Other duties as assigned.

Salary:

Hiring range, based on experience and credentials:

• Level I: $75,728.64 - $113,592.96 per year
• Level II: $89,157.12 - $133,735.68 per year.

Workdays: This role is located at Gastroenterology South- Tualatin, with required occasional coverage at Gastroenterology South – Newberg. Typical hours are Monday-Friday, 8:00 am-5:00 pm with a 1-hour lunch or 4 -10s (7:00 am – 5:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch), day off; TBD, but will not be a Monday or Friday.

Occasional Remote/Hybrid work is available when training is completed and expectations are met. (1 day or less per week, depending on organization needs)

Qualifications that support success in this role are based on education, experience and values including:

• A bachelor’s degree is preferred; relevant experience may be substituted.
• At least five (5) years of medical office experience is strongly preferred.
• A minimum of five (5) years' experience in a supervisory role is preferred. Two (2) years are required.
• Demonstrated ability to initiate, work independently, and effectively multitask.
• Prior Electronic Medical Record (EMR) experience preferred. Epic experience is a plus!
• Excellent attendance and work ethic.
• Positive attitude and desire to be a team player.
• Ability to communicate professionally and effectively with patients, physicians, and other team members.
• A commitment to patient-focused care, privacy, and safety.
