What are the responsibilities and job description for the Outreach Coordinator position at the Orange County Rescue Mission?
Under the supervision of the Community Partnership Outreach Manager, the Outreach Coordinator, provides a contact point for Community Partnership stores within the assigned territory to assist with onsite resource services and assistance for homeless individuals who are at store locations. The coordinator will have a scheduled route Tuesday-Saturday 11:30 am- 8:00 pm and will be on-call when not traveling and completing the route during the regular shift. This position is responsible for delivering compassionate, Christ-centered services at the store level to those in need. This position also provides transportation to pre-designated resources centers or other pre-approved locations as needed, such as bus stations, shelters and non-emergency medical facilities.
