We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Janitor/Cleaner to maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment across our facilities. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, dusting, vacuuming, and trash removal across all designated areas
- Handle chemical cleaning agents safely and effectively to disinfect surfaces and maintain hygiene standards
- Operate floor buffers and other floor care equipment to ensure floors are clean, polished, and well-maintained
- Conduct heavy lifting tasks following safe lifting practices when moving furniture, supplies, or equipment
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms, kitchens, hallways, offices, and common areas in accordance with health and safety regulations
- Assist with industrial cleaning projects or specialized custodial tasks as needed for facility upkeep
- Support general facilities maintenance activities such as light repairs or reporting maintenance issues promptly
Qualifications
- Proven janitorial or custodial experience in commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of cleaning techniques, chemical agents handling, and floor buffing equipment operation
- Ability to perform manual handling tasks safely and efficiently, including heavy lifting
- Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices and general cleaning procedures
- Strong attention to detail with a proactive attitude toward maintaining cleanliness standards
- Physical stamina to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform manual tasks for extended periods
- Excellent time management skills to prioritize daily cleaning responsibilities effectively
