Position Overview
Columbus Facility Cleaning is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Cleaners / Janitors for commercial cleaning opportunities in Barboursville, West Virginia.
We are looking for candidates with flexible availability between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM. Specific shift schedules and service hours may vary depending on facility needs and available cleaning assignments.
This opportunity is ideal for dependable individuals looking for part-time commercial cleaning work who are comfortable working independently and can maintain a consistent schedule once assigned.

Responsibilities
- Perform professional commercial cleaning and janitorial services.
- Clean, sanitize, and maintain restrooms.
- Restock toilet paper, paper towels, soap, and other toiletries and supplies.
- Sweep, dust mop, wet mop, and vacuum assigned floor areas.
- Clean glass doors, windows, mirrors, and other glass surfaces.
- Safely operate floor cleaning equipment when required.
- Empty trash receptacles and properly dispose of waste in designated areas.
- Clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces, counters, fixtures, and common areas.
- Maintain clean and organized janitorial supply areas.
- Follow company safety procedures and proper chemical handling guidelines.
- Use the company mobile application for GPS-verified clock-ins, clock-outs, and shift reporting.
- Promptly report maintenance concerns, leaks, safety hazards, damaged equipment, or other facility issues.
Requirements
- Must have availability to work scheduled shifts between 6:00 AM and 2:00 PM.
- Previous commercial cleaning or janitorial experience is preferred.
- Experience using floor cleaning equipment is a plus.
- Must be comfortable cleaning and sanitizing restrooms.
- Must own a smartphone and be comfortable using mobile applications for timekeeping and reporting.
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to consistent cleaning quality.
- Reliable transportation to and from assigned job sites.
- Must be dependable, punctual, and able to maintain an assigned schedule consistently.
